About Peace Village NM

Our Mission

Peace Village NM is an interfaith, multicultural day camp that provides an inclusive environment in which children learn the message and practices of nonviolence and peacemaking from various world traditions in a fun and cooperative atmosphere. Peace Village NM welcomes children from all spiritual and cultural traditions.

Who Are The Adult Leaders At Peace Village Camp?

The adults who lead Peace Village range from elementary, high school, and college level educators to specialists including artists, drummers, singers, story tellers, dancers, and more.

Where Is Peace Village Camp?

In 2012, Peace Village camp is located at Peace Lutheran Church for the first session, the Unitarian Universalist Church for the second session and First Christian Church for the third session.

How Much Does Peace Village Camp Cost?

The basic charge for each child is $60 for the week, which includes snacks and materials for all activities. If you contact us in advance, some scholarships are available.

How Can My Child Attend Peace Village Camp?

To apply for camp, please fill out the application form and return it to Peace Village Camp, 1701 Missouri Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001. Applications must be submitted not later than July 8. Submitting an applications does not guarantee admission. We want to accommodate all children who apply, but space is limited and there may be a waiting list.
